Anyone have trouble getting thier modified jeeps Smoged. went down to get my first smog check and it passed emitions fine, but because it has a snorkel and aftermarket headers they cant pass it without some sticker from the manufacturer or the parts that says they are Ca compliant. I ordered a new air box to get around the snork. But the headers are going to be a prob I think.



Any help or advice would be appreciated

Try a less-than-scrupulous place. Or try handing them a few extra $$.

I've heard of it working, never done it myself. County I live in doesn't require Full Inspections.

 

You should be able to get a CARB complience number from the manufacturers if theyve been accepted/tested.
