Call me stupid
Can someone tell me the advantages to replacing the steering stabilizer? With TF, OME, Blitzen etc I know there are lots of options. What does it do exactly and what would aftermarket do better? I'm not looking for the "you don't need it take it off" response. Just curious and could t find much for answer on searches. Thanks
it would not really do anything better, maybe dampen sudden steering wheel movement better, but still only slightly. if you OE one if working well then i doubt you will be able to feel the difference. you should relocate it though, keeps it out of harms way.
if your OE is not damaged, save your money. Bilstein seems to make the better replacement when that time comes, TF seems to have a short lifespan/high failure rate based on the posts.
Dual SS don't make anything better - looks I guess.
x2 on getting relocation bracket - if you wheel often it's only a matter of time before it takes a hit.
If you wheel a lot where you get kick-back, look at PSC Motorsports steering kit
