Default Came back from HELL!!!

Decided to go to off-roading as there are lots of trails there....I went to one today and decided to run it through alone since I couldn't find a partner. Took my wife w/ me too since she wanted to see what it was like. Well after getting in there, we decided to stop off the trail for a min. Saw a puddle of mud and see if I could make it through, BAM, got stuck!!!! Nobody even close to us...middle of no where. I got half way out but with stock height and tires, I wasn't gonna have no luck. Thought I'd go in a little more and hit reverse hard and get out. But it got stuck even more. The front half was burried under the puddle. So I took of running to see what can be done...with my wife. About 2 miles walking, and screaming "HELLO!" finally some ATV guys saw us. They were nice nuff to let me ride one of their ATVs and ride back there to my Jeep. Thought we'd give it a try w/ their Quad 4 (that thing is HUGE!) and after 3 tries, we were able to pull it out. No phone service..middle of nowhere w/ my wife...wasn't what I expected! Well thanks to them I got back home.
Here are some pics......

...They also said they'll work on my truck. Lift it up and ready it for off roading....

Here are some pics....taken w/ my phone so it's crappy....

As you can see....the front skidpad broke and it's hanging off...

whats with the shameless advertising?

I feel for ya though, that would totally suck to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with your wife...I hope you at least made the best of the situation and broke the jeep in properly, if you know what I mean.

Actually, it sounds like my idea of a great day! And FR is right (gasp...), that's just the air dam-- it's not a skid plate. It's better off in your garage.

Lots of mud on your rig is a sign that you had a great time, and getting stuck is all part of that great time.
