Sup guys, so I got a question. I'm sure most of you have heard of the Camel Trophy comp. Well would it be considered taboo if I were to camel trophy-ise my Jk. I'm aware that its a land rover thing but it was originally started by old CJs. I realllly love the expedition style they have going on, the ruggedness of there vehicles, and the camel trophy sign and am thinking about getting some stickers that say camel trophy. I just dont want to be "that guy" what do you guys think? Here is a video for those who are unaware https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yGq...e_gdata_player

The way I see it is it is your Jeep. Make it your own anyway you choose. I just put on mine whatever I think makes it work best for what I want to do and so far that has worked for me. It gets good comments and can lead the rubis over stuff that makes them work for it.

I agree, make it your own.

I just don't want to be like the guy that has bummer on his jeep

It's your rig, but I can tell you even in Land Rover circles Camel Trophy wanna-be vehicles are sneered at. I think building a Wrangler to CT specs is a cool idea, but I personally wouldn't put CT logos on a Jeep.

X2 on what he said. /\ /\ /\

It's your Jeep and you should do with it what you like, but be aware that you'll probably be regarded as "That guy" by many Jeepers and Landy owners alike.

There's a fine line between being a poser and paying homage.. I'd be a little leary..

On second thought, do it and put a sticker on the back that say "Official Land Rover Camel Trophy recovery vehicle". That will cover you.:thumbsup:
