I want to pull the rear seats out of my Unlimited and replace them with 2ea fully functional front seats. Thoughts?

Im sure it can be done. WOL has 2 aftermarket seats in the back of his unlimited.

Yes, it certainly can be done. I forget who but someone makes an aftermarket bracket specially for that, for mounting two front bucket seats. I have seen it on this site and on other sites, try looking around for it, I'll try finding it too

If you have any Fab skills, make a mount, just have to find the tracks somewhere.

I would miss the fold (mostly) flat folding rear seats.

Maybe some minivan rear captain chairs?

I got it! Weld steel plates to both ends of a coil, bolt a seat to one plate then bolt assembly to floor board! It would bring a whole new experience to off roading for passengers!!!!
