Can you run 33" on stock suspension?

I just installed my 33's on 15"rims with a 4.00 backspacing. No rubbing. If I did take it off-road though it would definitely rub. Make sure the rims you get clear the brake calipers though. I drove down the road and heard some metal on metal rubbing and sure enough the front rims were all over the calipers! Ground down the caliper housing a little though and that took care of it. Freaked me out though!!

No apples. I was rubbing with stock suspension with those same wheels, so backspacing didn't even figure into it. The OP was asking abut stock suspension, and I replied that all it took for me was a Teraflex leveling kit to prevent rubbing. I only mentioned the spacers because I strongly dislike them, they scare me and are not necessarily required to run 33s.

By the way, the 15 inch MB72 wheel from Discount Tire doesn't rub the caliper.
