Short of offering up some kitty-koolaid in a small dish or using a small caliber firearm, this was the only thing I could find that would keep the buggers out of my CJ and use the driver side floor pan as a piss pot

Something I have done indoors to keep the cats out of the babies crib is layout some aluminum foil. Place it on the seats, or wherever you expect they are entering from. Usually only takes one time for the cat to jump on it and they will NEVER go in there again. Just hope you don't have a big terd leftover because it will scare the sh*t out of them LOL.

I was going to mention a well placed 22 as well... but i thought i might offend some people.

p.s. that had to be a hard ride to let go.

This might work:

Might be a little overkill though... it usually shoots the Jeep out from under the cat.

Set a nice little bowl of anitifreeze next to, or under your Jeep.
Presto, a few weeks later, cats won't bother your Jeep any more!!!

Man, you have no idea... or, maybe you do. I still wonder sometimes if I made the right decision to part with it.
