Default Cats in the Jk

I have had my doors and roof off for most of the summer. At night I cover it with a tarp and park it under the carport. Some mornings when I go out I find that a cat has found its way under the tarp and is on my seat.Short of buying a cab cover ,is there someway to keep them out?

As you shoo it away, say, "Get out of my car."

Eventually, enough kittens will die that there will be no cats to be on your seat.

I just bought the bestop all weather cover,i havent had a chance to use it yet but will probably use it all winter here or most of it,my brothers cadilac cts already has scratches on the hood from a cat,i hope it does not get under this cover, nothing worse then cat piss smell.every place i live there spraying piss on my tires, a few years back i had a 94 f-150 and it would spray piss on my wind shield and drivers side mirror as it sat on my hood at night,so when i rode with the window down all i smelled was that foul smell,it never washes out either.good luck with it

Depending on how big your tarp is, you could try bungee cording it together underneath the body.

I had a cat on top of mine for a while. Someone had put him out in the neighborhood. I started feeding him He'd sleep up there. One day he got under the hood some how on top of the motor. The belt finished him off. I think you should get rid of him if at all possible. I felt horrible cause it happened.

Default Hit the panic button!

Go to petsmart or Petco they have several different things you can try. Or you can try what I did. heat the Jeep up, pad the hood extra good, and when they get good a settled in, Hit the panic button. Doesn't hurt the cat but it sure as hell gets their attention.

You could leave one of these under the tarp......

I'm thinking that would be the last time the cat found its way onto your seat.

LoL. The cat would dissapear if that dog ever caught it. I got an OOrang Airedale. He would look all over the place for that cat. Just wasn't fast enough to catch it. Personally this would cure the cat problem.

Pitbull just don't cut it. When you could have one of these.

I have a motion alarm in my jeep... the first few times it went off at night I was pissed that it woke me up, but now the cat runs whenever I pull in the drive!

IF either one of those dogs were here thy would run like a baby or land up as a meal. We have BOTH mountain lions and bobcats where I live, it is considered a game preserve so no getting rid of them. They also have very little fear of man or machine, and scare off the neighbors 3 Mastifs. I would suggest just using doors and a top or getting a Yardguard(motion activated animal deterrent device). You can find them at sportsmans warehouse. They run off of a couple of batteries.
