Caution: Lost my new tire and wheel!!!!!!
That sucks. I don't think I have ever had a wheel fall off on me before, not that I can recall anyway. But once when I got my 1985 K5 Blazer out of the shop from getting my front dana 60 put under it and 14 bolt rear axle put under it I did not make it 3 miles from the shop and I started getting a horrible death wobble and was all over 2 lanes of traffic. What had happened where they sent my axles off to get the pinion angle rotated the perch where the leaf spring sits on top of the axle, the weld that held it to the axle had broke.
Yeah that totally sucks. I like to torque my own wheels and I check mine even after leaving the tire shop. I had my rear tire from my 65 mustang pass me. Funny thing is, when I was throwing my lugs I thought it was rocks coming off my my tire.
