Hi everyone
Can any one tell me how to retrieve my cell phone from the crater called the defroster vent, on my dashboard? Apparantly my sticky pad that sits on the dash, has lost its stick, and when I hit a corner my phone slid across the dash coming to rest inside the vent. When I reached to grab it, it fell deeper into the vent and now I can't even feel it. My husband went to get some sort of bendie tool that has claws to see if it will grab it, but I thought maybe someone may have had this happen to them.

pull the glove box out, just push in on the sides. you can reach most things from there

 

Thank you for the tip. We were able to get it out using the claw thing. But next time I will try removing the glove box.

Don't feel too bad. Many (me too) have lost stuff in there. Check this link for a easy fix under 2 bucks.

yes I did the dash mod works great.. just cut your piece an inch longer at least.
