Wow, you're right! It looks like they pasted a big yellow arrow on the side of it.

 

lol no what's that red bodywork going up on the side of the roll bar looks to me like they made it to replace the plastic door rail or something

 

EDIT: I just went to the Jeep website and the caption over that pic says "2007 Wrangler". My guess is that it was either a prototype or a photoshop....

That's an old picture because the exact same picture appears in the 2007 Jeep Brochure I picked up at my local Jeep dealer in January 2007. On the next page of the brochure is a picture of a two door Rubicon with the traditional black padded B pillar.

What's the difference between the red rock and the flame red's B pillar in the pic doojer posted? Is the black plastic piece removable so you can get the traditional black padded B pillar look? None of the pictures in my '07 brochure show the plastic B pillar like on the red rock Jeep. Does the plastic piece come with the hard top options?

I suppose when my '08 2dr Rubicon arrives I'll have to get the dealer to pull the hard top and show me the B pillar. I only bought the hard top for three months out of the year. I don't want to go around with the extra plastic on the B pillar the remaining nine months.

no the plastic is for the soft top also. I have the plastic surround on my 2 dr soft top, it is where the side windows fold into the door jamb
