Anyone running a chrome grill on a silver JK...?
I'm not sure... I'm hesitating... If someone could post pictures, that would help...
Chrome grills use to be really popular on CJs and YJs... they don't seem to be anymore...

j/k think i have seen more black bedlined grills than chrome ones. not a lot of chromies on here.

 

yeah now everyone sprays the grille black looks much better, chrome is so 80's or is it 70's

The only thing worse than a chrome grill on silver, is a chrome grill on a yellow.

I couldn't even stand the Chrome Jeep logo so I painted it black.

 

I've got it on my '08. I like it. Steel Blue with the chrome insert, not the full front chrome. The door handles are, too. Oh no!!! It's a Rubicon...and it's been off road, and through the snow...and the chrome is still there!!!

I personally hate the chrome look, but my biggest thing with other people doing it (usually I'm like, your jeep, your deal) is that I don't see the chrome finish sticking. After my first time off roading in my brand new 09 jk (so I owned it for literally 4 days) the chrome finish on my "JEEP" logo on the front had partially peeled off.

 

Well said. It's unique right now as it is. Mods later will probably replace the uniqueness. I can live with that too. I've got an '04 Electric Lime Green Rubi with everything, including the headlight bezels, blacked out. You easily see either one coming.
