Default Chrysler doesn't have to pay back Fed

http://volokh.com/posts/1241574478.shtml

Chrysler LLC will not repay U.S. taxpayers more than $7 billion in bailout money it received earlier this year and as part of its bankruptcy filing.

What a crock!

I do not believe anyone will pay back any of that money. The Banking guys will not either. We will be the ones taking it in the shorts.

At this point given the fed's inaction and innabilty to regulate banks and the obvious cooperative spirit of fraud between banks, servicers, fed authority, wall street, and the realestate industry I feel my home debt should be considered Toxic and I should qualify for TARP monies and full relief of all debt.

Since we are stake holders in Chrysler I willing to relieve my share for their forgiveness of my auto loan as well. Otherwise I vote that they be forced into Chapter 7 and sold off to pay off their debts.

Or something along those lines.

Seriously, this is just so retarded at this point. I just know GM is looking at this and this massive debt forgiveness by the govt and forced forgiveness by the courts for it's debtors and will file as well; it's in their best interests. But funk any of us dong the same, oh no... that's like pulling teeth and a judicial miracle given the new laws (not that I need to, just pointing out the innequity of it all).

Don't get me started on all this money they are pulling out of their asses.

Like no-one saw that coming!!! Actually someone will be paying the money back, unfortunately it will be my childrens generation. Being Chrysler doesn't have to pay back stimulous money and they are now in chapter 11 bankruptsy, why do we have to continue paying them our money for our Jeep loans? This government is so ass backwards!!! And Obama still has an amazingly high approval rating - I love stupid people!!!
