Yeah, that hood shakes a bit over 75, and even worse if you have a cross wind. Has anyone gotten to MW3 on the speedo yet? What happens?

The headlights retract and the machine guns come out. Haven't had mine above 80 mph yet that I can think of. No hood flutter anymore with the drake hood latches at any speed, any wind or passing cars. That power bulge hood is like a parachute it grabs a ton of air and makes that hood pretty scary at times.

Where'd you get the hood latches? I need some of those.

Got them at Quadratec, I think they were $170.00 to the door. They are well worth the money and they will last forever. I would recommend calling them as there are some forum perks from what I've heard on here. I have read good and bad reviews about all the other replacement hood latches and decided to go with the Drake ones, besides they look sick on the Jeep. I gotta warn ya if you go with them, they aren't the easiest thing I've installed, but with the right tools you can get them with not too much trouble.

I think my brother is a good driver. He always drives fast with any kind of car. Honestly, until he wanted me checked out how fast it was going, I didn't even feel the speed of 100 mph. He told me he was concerned about the hood. But nothing happened. :-)
P.s I don't know how to fix. Mine is 3410 not 3401.

Mine is still stock of everything. I haven't done any mod yet. Honestly, I love my jeep very much.

Default Cod mw3 3084/3500

Just put in the smittybuilt tailgate covers and cargo liner.
Also did some simple mods....bug deflector, hood air intake, screened the front grill and replaced the stock headlights. Also have the smittybuilt seat covers as well....
Next will be more lights and a CB.Click image for larger version
