Cold weather-- soft windows
Experienced jeep owners: I know it's not good to really touch the soft top windows when it's below freezing, because of the potential for cracking. But should I be concerned about shutting the door when it's still cold? (I.E. Will the pressure from shutting the damage cause them to crack too)
Also, does ice accumulation on the soft top hurt anything (does it damage the lining?)
And what about snow? (The other day I had 2 inches on it... it all flew off at highway speeds, but there was definitely some stress on the support when it was there... squeaked over every bump!)
Thanks guys!

You should be fine opening and closing your doors - the pressure change shouldn't hurt anything. As far as weighing down the soft-top, use common sense: 3-4 inches of snow really shouldn't harm anything, but 6 inches of snow with an inch of ice underneath is really pushing it. Maybe someone else could post the exact "failure point" of the soft-tops with regard to precipitation accumulation, but not I.
There's probably a "failure point", but like MJS said use common sense. I take any snow off the roof with a push broom. It's easy, and I don't do it excessively so I don't damage the top. Just go a little over half way across, then drag it back.
