I read somewhere that jeep will no longer be producing wranglers in the dark charcoal gray color. Ant truth to this? I hope not. Was gettin really hyped up about buying a jeep in this color.

The dealer offered me a Jk with the exterior dark charcoal gray color.
What do you think about that color ?
Is it not seen similar as black one?

My dealer that I just bought from had a charcoal gray 2 door in the showroom. When people say discontinued, do you mean after the 2010 model? I know they change colors a lot, and colors like yellow, orange, some shades of green, and some shades of blue, are offered one year and not the next. Could be the same with the dark charcoal gray.

It is a nice color, but I would think you could find a 2010 model somewhere.

 

Just bought my 2010 in the charcoal pearl. It is an awesome colour! I love it

When the sun hits it just right, it has a lot of depth to it.

Love my red. Blakc is nice, but shows lots of everything thrown at it..

 

I'm going to the dealer to order one in Dark Charcoal this Friday. I'll post back with what they say. I've told them via emails that I want Dark Charcoal, as opposed the to default Black that must be chosen when building your own with dual tops on the Jeep website. They said I could order any color (why is the Jeep website wrong??), and they didn't mention my choice of Dark Charcoal was discontinued. We'll see what happens Friday.

 

Per the dealer's email, Dark Charcoal is no longer available for order.

 

That's too bad. Red Rock Crystal or Flame Red is always nice
