Another dealer just offered me this $27,997.00 He also stated that DC increased the price of 2008 by $700.00 too (first time I've heard about this)

 

I just priced out a 2008 X 2dr. with 23S, 17 " wheels, dual tops, trailer tow group, smokers group, power convience group, fog lamps, 6 Infinity w/subwoofer, tow hooks & black appearance group. Sticker was $25,815, Invoice according th dealer was $24,500, Invoice according to Kelly Blue Book was $23,957, dealer will sell for $500 over invoice ( $25,000 ), I say $500 over KBB invoice ( $24,500 )

 

I know the 4 doors are the hot ticket, but does Jeep ever offer incentives on the 2 door models?

 

i dont think wranglers ever get incentives.

I had been looking all over for the right vehicle at the right price and I think that I finally found the place. Considering it's location, it might work for you as well.

I was looking around eBay on Sunday and came across a new X for sale by Steve White Motors from Hickory, NC. After being pleasantly surprised by the price of this vehicle, I read all of the details provided by Steve White as to how they do business and the fact that they offer their eBay type pricing on any and all new vehicles on their lot.

I went to their website (stevewhitemotors.com) and immediately found the Sahara that I had been looking for. I called up and talked to Chris Andrews and the price he came back with was 8% below sticker. This was the first dealer I had found that was at all flexible on the sticker price and I decided to take him up on the price. I am getting the exact vehicle that I wanted and having it shipped 1400 miles to S. Texas for less than I could buy it 5 miles from my house.

They offer free shipping, airport pickup, and some airplane tickets for some areas and yours may just be one of them. If you haven't signed on the dotted line yet, I encourage you to give Chris a call at 828-464-3458. According to what Chris tells me, they will even locate a vehicle for you if they don't have it and still honor the eBay price structure.

I hope the below link will work for you. They have a vehicle that sounds a lot like what you are looking for and it lists for $30,600 and it is selling for $28,600. It has dual tops, 6 disk CD player, the 24S package, 18" wheels, etc. I have no affiliation with this group other than that of a pleased customer. Funny you should mention White Motors.....that's the bottom offer I had from my first post on this topic.

I asked him about DC canceling the fog lights and hooks on the 24S package... he finally came back and said this " The S package still includes the those two items, but it is listed differently on the current build sheet. The Jeep I quoted does in fact include Fog Lamps and Tow hooks."

I saw the Dark Blue one he had listed on his website and it was a perfect match (other than NOT being Silver) to what I was looking for, but I really need Silver.
I'm going to my dealer after work today and discussing the Fog light issue with him...if he doesn't agree that it will have both the lights and hooks when it arrives (at NO extra cost) I'm going to cancel the order and contact Rex at White's.

Were you working with Rex at White's?

 

I haven't talked to Rex at all. When I called I ended up with Chris Andrews and just did my deal thru him.
