Default Compressor Reviews

After all the help last weekend I figured this is obviously the best place to ask for help about equipment to inflate/deflate tire pressures on the JK.

After using my key to drop the pressure to 15 psi, having a blast and being successful, we headed into town to use a compressor at a shop.

Unfortunately, it took close to a half hour to re-inflate the tires. Is this normal?

What types of setups do you guys use and how long do they take?

You might want to add CO2 to your survey options. I get about 30 fills out of my 15# bottle. It takes about 30 - 45 seconds per tire.

You can also add a reservoir tank to for your compressor.

That's why I love this place - didn't know about other options!

Now to try to figure out how to modify the poll to include the CO2 option without Happy adding his medication list to the issue!

I voted that I had onboard air installed, but my compressor is actually not here yet (should be here first of next week). I got a used air tank from a Land Rover (freebie!!!) and will be mounting it where the stock muffler is...just as soon as I relocate the muffler. The Land Rover air tank actually has a working pressure of 210 psi. I was really surprised it was that high.

Default In the mean time....

Hopefully we will modify or just start another poll...

...but for those not using CO2 - which compressor options are you using / have used / have good or bad things to say about?

The new Warn powerplants look enticing as a combo unit but does anyone have any experience with them so far?

There are several units (Max, Viair, others) that claim speedy inflation times but do they really and are they reliable and durable?

Thanks
