Default Connectivity Group question

Can someone explain the Connectivity Group, and how it relates to the 730 and 430 Media Centers, Blue Tooth, UConnect, iPhones, etc.? Do I really need this if I get one of the upgraded media centers?

Thank you in advance...

Also curious why some 2011s that don't have connectivity have the buttons on the steering wheel. Is UConnect for the phone a part of the connectivity group or do just have to have the Satellite addon? I don't like the look of those blacked out spaces where buttons were suppose to be on the steering wheel.

I ordered the 730N (410N was not yet available) with connectivity group. I would have done the 410N because its much cheaper and I don't see a big advantage to having the 730N. I believe milous has info posted on this subject. Search for that thread.

I decided to get the connectivity group even thought it appears you are only adding the vechicle information center and some unconnect phone features to the 730n package with it. It's hard to tell which features of the unconnect phone system will work without the connectivity group in the 730n.
