Some sort of blue will rear its head soon. I do not think Jeep will be without a blue for too long. Unless there is some pigment availability problem because of issues in Japan

Several colors including the blue were affected by the Japan tsunami. Something about the pigmentation process needs something that cones from there. This affects the whole Chrysler line. I think I read it in JP magazine.

That issue has been solved. Ford had the same problem obtaining the specific paint component as did most all auto paint manufacturers. All good now. Still don't understand why no blue. Red, white, blue, black, and silver are the staple colors for all manufacturers.

The good news is I HAVE ONE!!!
This color looks just like Chrysler B3 Super Blue and I was wondering if you know. I already have a jeep but want a Challenger in that color like the one I bought new in 1972. God I love that color/car.

Wow, bringing back an OLD thread, but I just found a Cosmos Sport 2-door at a dealer a few hours north of me. Thinking about picking it up for the wife. What's the latest these were built? I can't believe the dealer still has one.

That color has been done for probably 9 months now. If new it must have some unpopular options or the dealer wants way too much for it if new.

The local dealership has been desperately wanting me to trade in my Cosmo Blue JK, that they comp'd me an alignment this weekend in an attempt to buy my Jeep. I took the alignment and kept my Jeep

It's a 2-door Sport with a 6-speed, 3.73's, Connectivity and Hardtop. It's exactly the way we'd order one, but I'm assuming the manual transmission with the options make quite undesirable to the masses. The dealer also only advertises it at MSRP...still. However, I can get guaranteed 1% below invoice with affiliate pricing. I'm just a little nervous about the heads being as old as it is.
