I just talked to someone over at costco and found out that the nearest participating dealer is around 350 miles from me. Would I save enough to make it worth the trip from Saint Louis to Chicago?

 

I called the local dealer here about the costco program.
This was in dec, 06 and the price was $500 under invoice.

He showed me the costco paper with the $500 under invoice printed on the paper, at that time it was $500 under invoice for almost all of the Jeep products. That contract was from 12/06 to 1/ 07, now the costco price is $500 under MSRP. I think they didn't think the unlimited wrangler was going to be such a great, and sought after product.


I ordered a rubicon, still on order, due to mygig.

Call the dealer and ask if they can give you the costco program price over the phone, it will save you time and money.

The costco rules are that "you are supposed to go to the dealer, show them your card, then they will show you the pricing".

If you are in St. Louis, we have a Costco dealer here in KC. Only 250 miles away. Try Overland Park Jeep. 913-381-8100 Ask for Mike Sullivan. The way the deal works, they won't give prices over the phone. You have to visit in person and show your Costco card. I got mine on order from OP Jeep and should be delivered within a week. I ran across this after I ordered, but if you check ebay, there is a dealer that will give ebay pricing, under invoice, and deliver to any state. I believe he is in North Carolina. Do a search on this site and you will come up with something or search for Jeep JK on ebaymotors. I saw it on ebay today when I bought some slush mats onl line.
