Default Cragar Rust?

Do the Cragar Soft 8's (Black) rust? They sure are cheaper, but I don't want to have to replace them after a winter (because then they'd be more expensive than the ProComps or MT Classics I'm looking at)

Also, I'm assuming there's no real difference between the Cragar Soft 8's, and the Procomp Steel wheels (other than about $20 and the included hub caps on the Procomps). Right?

The Crager's have a nice powdercoat on them so, rusting isn't an issue. I used American Classics on my YJ for years and never had any problems with rust on them. Very similar wheel to my Cragers.
I put my Cragers on at the start of the winter and have had no rust issues at all.

I see. The salty winters make it a little nerve racking buying a steel wheel... but that's what's on it already, so! Heck, I might as well save the money and go with the Cragars. Any input on the Procomp version?

@Goose: Love the link Idea... i'm going to steal it

I don't know a thing about the procomps, but if the center caps are one of the reasons you are looking at going that route, check this thread out. If I hadn't let my center caps go when I sold my wheels, I'd be doing the exact same thing. I think it looks pretty slick on the Cragers.

Thanks, I was surprised that I was the first one to do it. Steal away.

The main reason I was looking at the procomps is the different backspacing. That center cap idea is pretty good too, but I'd probably just go with the chrome ones cragar has. I kind of like it a little more
