Default Craigslist help!

So someone is selling a Bestop supertop nx brand new in the box for a good price on craigslist. I really want it but they live 2 hours away so I asked if they could ship and they said yes for about $30. I want to jump on it asap BUT I've never done this before (shipped from craigslist) and don't want to get screwed. What do I do to make sure I'm protected? Go through paypal? Should I not risk it?

I would take the two hour drive( that's close) so I could open it up and check it out. Always a good excuse to drive the jeep!!

I agree^^^. In fact, I would remove whatever is on there now and install it at the sellers house to make sure I got everything. The $30 should more than cover gas. As for the time, the 2 hours of getting there will be filled with anticipation and the 2 hour return will be filled with joy.

Seems like a great reason to take a Saturday drive in the Jeep.

I agree with 14Sport, take the drive topless. Great way to make sure it fits and you get everything. That way your not ordering parts or driving two hours again to get a part that was left behind.
