Default Cubby holes for Cell and such

Anybody come up with a solution for the lack of places the throw cell phones and sun glasses? Don't know why jeep didn't put a cubby hole in front of the shifters. That little half circle is all but useless. The big center console box is cool but it's like my wifes purse. I know i'll fill it with junk so finding the glass and hearing the cell will be impossible.

I did the same thing, half went between the shifter and cupholders for my cell phone and the other half went between the console storage box and the cupholders on a little bit of a slant. My sunglasses go there.

Can we see some pics? The lack of little storage spaces has been one of those little annoyances. I didn't realize how much I used them on my TJ until I didn't have them.

Default Cell Phone Storage

I clip my cellphone onto the release lever for the soft top... one for me, one for wifey. Inconvenient for charging, though.

Default cell phone

sunglasses are folded and hang around the rearview mirror. I tried to hook them around the tweeters but that was a no go...kept breaking the lenses out when I reached for them.

Cell phone, since I gotta charge the motorola pos 9times outta ten anyway I hook it to the charger then drape it over the grab handle in front of the passenger seat...guess I'll spring for a clip for the sunvisor for an organizer...don't know why they didn't put a mini console in front of the shifter or a depressed area above the radio on the dash...

Cool cool little thing

these things are less than 4 bucks at wal mart.. I bought 3 they work great. When you need to use the cup holder they stick well between the seat and the brake handle.

I don't know about each specific State but here in MA is illegal to talk on a hand held device so I'm looking into getting a Garmin GPS with Blue Tooth and hope to end my search for the phone when it rings. I read a few posts back about how we or most of us thought that the radio was going to be BT compatible but no and is such a nice feature to have the phone ring and the radio switches over to phone mode until the conversation is ended, my TL has it and well, I was a little dissapointed the button on the Rubi is just there for looks.......

Get a Jabra JX-10 Bluetooth headset. IT's unbelievable. I got one for Xmas, I've used it for 10 hours and it still hasn't needed a recharge. Sound quality is like the person's talking next to you!
