I wonder who will be ther 1st person to do the Daktari "Zebra" look to their rig. If I keep the JK long enough to have it be my "toy" I may do it....

well kids I love that look and I know how my wife feels about having your vehicle stick out in a crowd, but when I had an orange Element a member from a club with the same color as mine did it a la Tony the Tiger and it looked..GREEEEATTT, I wish I had the picture saved but don't and based on the lines of the JK it would be the "look" to have for an off road rig....just 3 more years and we will see , with tiltle on hand.....

 

When I got the title and/or the paint gives up the ghost I will consider it. I was thinking cammo but looking at it the zebre look is okay too.

 

cammos are a dime a dozen...I see them one weekened a month and most are......Humvies....that's why I see the zebra look as unique ...and you know, maybe I'll be the one to start a new "trend", wifey saw the thread and said...you know it would look "different"...in other words..."sure honey find a place that you trust and do it".... , but I know I have the base color, all I need is some stickers.......... and for the hardtop I would do the opposite as the base color is black....

 

I used to have a white TJ, and I was going to paint it orange with purple tiger stripes, but I totaled it.
I missed that Jeep until I bought the JK. Now I don't miss the TJ anymore (half doors, no A/C, 4-banger, 30 inch tires that rubbed)
