Default Dash Kits

Who has one? What is the quality of these? I'm referring to the Red Rock overlays, brushed aluminum look, and the others that you see in the Jeep catalog from the dealer. I dig the Red Rock overlay

Also, where is the cheapest place to make a purchase on one of these?

Be careful with dash overlay kits. I don't have any experience with the one for the Jeep, but have seen these things installed in other cars. I was considering brushed aluminum for my Thunderbird - cost about $300. But, when I saw this actually installed on a T-Bird, it looked like crap. Not only didn't it and anything to the look of the vehicle's interior, it totally detracted from it.

The problem is that you can tell it's an overlay from about 5 feet away. I'd pay twice the price for a kit that actually replaced the dash parts, not just a overlay stuck on with 3M adhesive. Also, once you stick one of these kits on your dash, it's irreversable.
