Dealer Invoice different from Internet Invoice?
I'm in the process of buying a '08 Rubicon from a dealer here in San Diego and I offered just over Invoice. I gave them the NADA and TrueDelta invoice price of $31,426 ...they are saying their invoice is $32,050. What's the deal? Anyone else had this issue?
I've double checked the options and features...everything lines up.
Any help is appreciated.

$600 is not much difference when talking about $30K. It may be destinations, dealer prep fees, etc...
The most important thing is to get the price you are happy with!

Often times there are local or regional fees that the dealer has to pay per unit sold, such as advertising. Just sompare your printout to their's and see what the differences are. Enjoy your new toy.

okay, thanks for the help. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't the only one that had a different invoice number from the net.
The fees i had included a $700 fee for destination charge...so it's not that. But I'll check the breakdown and see what's up.
I'm also trying to get them to install my lift and tires/wheels. They have lifted Sahara's on the lot, so I asked if I could pick out my parts and get it all included...and therefore keep the lifetime warranty without any worries (and get them to warranty the lift). They said no problem. Now if I can just get the price i want for the lift etc...I'll should find out on monday.
I read of a few people on here getting their Rubi for just over invoice in SoCal, so I figured that was a good target to shoot for in this neck of the woods.
I'll keep you informed and post pics if it works out.

Just FYI, the dealer gets paid by DC for the ad fees. I think it is if the vehicle is sold within so many days.. like 90.
They call it hold back usually. Just make them the offer and maybe even check with the dealer sponsor of this site. Donavee Jeep.
Either way you will have to stand firm if you want them to accept your offer.
I just paid sticker, didn't have time or patience to play the game.
Best wishes to you.
