alright, so I can't stand the silver decals on my rescue green JK (especially the X one... I'm not embarassed about having an X, but I am embarassed by that hideous decal... who designed that piece of crap, the guy who did the opening credits for Saved by the Bell?)

anyway, I'm going to remove both and replace with black Jeep decals from pixeldecals.com... they offer both TJ-style and YJ-style fender decals, and I want some opinions on which you think would look better on the side of my JK...

I'm sort of leaning towards one already, but I won't say which yet... just VOTE AWAY...

also, if anyone out there already has one of these kinds of decals on their JK, please let me know (and maybe even post pics) so I can see what it'll look like on an actual JK...

I like the TJ style.

The YJ one just looks a little too spaced out for me

I'm a new Jeeper though...I wouldn't be surprised to see the people who have been the scene longer to lean towards the YJ style one.


Either way, I don't blame you for wanting to take your X decal off...I'm thinking about taking my Sahara decals off, not because I'm ashamed to have a girly Sahara, I just think they're kinda ugly

yeah, I was thinking about maybe doing that as well... JK decal over the "Jeep"... might all be too narrow, though... not sure... JK is 4"x4", both Jeep decals are 5.75"x2.25", so it might look alright I guess... the other thing I had in mind was from a JK I saw on here (Dr.McNinja's, I believe?) with the JK decal on the grill kind of down between the turn signal and the spaces in the grill... liked that too...

 

Voted TJ - As for the X decal, funny but I knew that was coming off way before I even went to order mine.

thanks for the input so far, everyone ... definitely seems like the popular vote is leaning towards the TJ decal...

special thanks to Scott for posting the pics... it's nice to have an idea of what my plan might look like when put into action...

of course, I'm still going to have give it some more thought, 'cause the way that I was leaning before opening the poll was towards the YJ-decal ... kinda like the old-school look... need to go out and see both on some actual YJs and TJs, maybe that'll help...

 

I like the TJ style. I just replaced my X with the JK decal from here.

 

Beefier TJ style fits the JK better IMO. My X stickers are about to come off and be replaced with JK stickers.

 

You should check out the Sahara decals that pixeldecals.com has. I got a pair from him and they look 100 times better.

btb01 When you say your taking the silver JEEP off do you mean on the grill? If so, what are you going to do with it? If you want to sell it, I may be interested. Like to put it on my kids atv. PM me.
