Either LoD sliders, or LoD mid front bumper.

A Shrockworks mid-width bumper will make it look sweet. Order it from Screamin' Lizard to avoid the wait.

tires are not that bad. like cyberbrain, i got my whole setup for about 1600 installed. thats four tires, four wheels, and a lift. put a cover on the spare until your birthday roles around for a full size. i'm 17 too and it was a deal for what i got. just be sure to post your pics, i know there will be alot of "look what santa brought me" threads, -plus you could re-use your stock wheels with spacers which would save you alot. it'd make your rig "straight B-A son" - some black guy told me at a gas station

What are you working with here....an X or Rubicon? And what is you need / want for use? That makes for different advice. Say you have a Rubi, you don't NEED tires and I'd go with armor. BUT if your starting with an X, tires or tires and lift make a drastic change of look. Same goes with if you just want it to look good on the street and you rarely get into something that would get you stuck or damage your vehicle OR you are wheeling it all the time and in harder terrain where you'd need the recovery and/or protection aspect.

So you can't get like 5 $200 dollar items? I'm assuming this is from your parents? If they are firm on the 1 item thing I would order whatever 1 item will cost $1000 like a winch or something. Then return it and buy Rough Country 2.5" BB I think it was like $129 on sale or something Get the Teraflex trackbar bracket not sure how much under $100 I believe. Then I'd scout around for used stuff with the $800 you have left.

Just my .05 though. (I actually only gave you my 2 cents but at the current rate of inflation the price of my thoughts will be 5 cents. )

Fill us in a bit and let us know what you plan on doing with your JK. You say you want to look cool...but do you wnat it to be functional offroad too??? What are your priorities?

If I had a grand to spend I'd pic up a front bumper and some sliders; you should be able to pull that off for under a grand if you shop a round.
