Default Decisions, decisions.

I have just enough money to get one mod. My choices are JCR sliders, Peterson LED headlights or Trektop NX. If you were in my position, what would you do?

Do u already have a soft top? If not I vote trektop. Otherwise rock sliders are a pretty sweet mod.

If you do any real wheeling then the sliders would be a no brainer. If you don't, then either headlights or trektop. I personally would do headlights.

The sliders would be more to function as a step for the kids.(and because they look cool) I only get a chance to do some light trails a few times a year when we travel to TN.

I have a couple boys who benefit from the sliders as steps, so I got those first, but by the next spring I had a soft top.

Edit: never mind, saw you mentioned kids. The rails make a big difference for them. Mine are 5 and 3.5 and can get in/out on their own. No chance without the rails.

I'd go headlights. If you don't wheel that much, sliders as a step seem wasted (kids will grow, right?). Soft top...meh. Headlights-- the stock ones are almost a health/safety issue on the JK.

I say headlights if you travel at night often. Safety is my main concern.

I'd check out cheaper headlights, such as the IPFs from Northridge, and see if I couldn't stretch my dollars a little bit better.
