Did I bought a super car ?!?
There have been people who bought a lemon Wrangler, and were less than satisfied with Chrysler's quality control, service policies, and design decisions.
They came on here and flamed the JK.
And were flamed themselves by the forum responses. A lot.
It is a Wrangler forum after all, so most people are logically going to defend their choice of buying a Wrangler.
If you read past threads in the Stock and JK talk sections, you will see a pattern of some of the weak areas the Jk has. There are several. Most any vehicle mass produced by humans by a company obviously having to make a profit is going have problems. A vehicle is a pretty complex system in todays age.
And honestly, there is nothing I "hated" about my JK besides the 3.8. If there were anything else, I would fix it, mod it, or sell the Jeep.

I hate that when it gets all dirty it doesn't just shake itself clean in dog like fashion.
Other than that I can't think of anything I dislike, let alone hate.
I have never owned a vehicle that is great on gas, in fact I get better with that Jeep
than I ever did with the Ram I drove for 8 years.

As much as I love my Jeep there's a lot to dislike such as how they put on cheap parts and under engineered some things like the clip that holds the 4WD cable to the transfer case, the crappy parking brake, and the fully hydraulic clutch system that has no way to be adjusted so the throwout bearing rattles on the clutch fingers in a short period of time.

Honestly...there are plenty of gripes, and I don't even own one yet. It is just that the people who don't complain are the people that actually KNEW what they were getting into.
Yes, it may leak.
Yes, it may be scary on the highway (especially the shorter wheel based 2 door)....welcome to solid axles.
Yes, it can be noisy.
Yes, it gets crappy MPG.
Yes, it has a low tow rating.
Yes, it has a low safety rating.
Yes, the clutch sucks in the manuals.
Yes, it has limited cargo room and the backseats are murder.
Yes, a pocketknife (or a torx) is a universal door opener.
But...it isn't a car.....or even a SUV. It is a Wrangler.
If you go in knowing and accepting all of that, you won't hate it.

"IT'S A JEEP THING AND I DO UNDERSTAND"
You must embrace the suck. Once you get over spending much of your free time at the gas station, dealing with leaks, slow acceleration (for us pre-12 guys) and constantly checking your bank account to see what you can buy next, you're golden.
Every vehicle is going to have things we'd like to see changed but honestly, there's nothing I hate. No other new vehicle is meant to be rolling around with no top and no doors, I love my Jeep!
