If my memory serves me right the WK Grand Cherokee was equipped with a 3 liter Mercedes-Benz engine, while the "rest of the world" JKs get the 2.8 VM.
I have not heard or read of anyone installing the 3.0 on the Wrangler, so your mating is going to be truly "one of a kind"

Anything is possible with some $$$. The 2.8 should be relatively easy install but it will be the electrical and sensors that will cause some major grief! Hell, if MBRP can slam a 12V 5.9L Cummins into a JK the 2.8 should be a cake walk! Best thing is to go talk with a good Diesel mechanic in your area and discuss some costs.

Oh in Canada the JK was never offered with the Diesel...or I would have been all over it...stupid emissions!!

You can ask for a 2,8 CRD DOHC RA428 Engine type for your JK. Electronic must also be take into consideration. All wiring is complete different from the petrol sister.
