How many people here use a hood lock and if you do would you share what it is and would you recommend it? Thanks all.

I have the MOPAR hood lock. It's expensive, but is rugged, installs easily, and uses the same key as the Jeep. It also prevents hood flutter.

Installed as designed, it can be breached with a skinny screw driver stuck under the hood. A little piece of sheet metal pop-riveted in front of it prevents that.

I use the mopar lock as well. It's better than nothing.

How much is the mopar lock? I like it because it uses the factory key. Pretty slick.

Other than that mine is not locked, no real desire to lock it right now. Figuring my whole vehicle is easily accessed..(soft top) as it is

I don't lock anything on the Jeep. hood, doors, glove compartment, etc.

alot of people think its like a normal vehicle where you have to be able to get inside first and just don't bother. i catch my friends all the time ...........hey can you pop my hood(while i'm outside and they are inside). so funny to watch them look for the release
