I drive a Sprinter for my work truck i've put about 30 k on it and at first I thought it had all kinds of strange problems but come to find out on most of them its they way they designed it to work. Like the radio turning on when the key is out and my tranny does weird stuff when i get down on the gas a Flash mite fix that but the 5k lb van gets 26-28 mpg which is amazing. Ofcourse if a wind comes up the thing is like a sail boat. I believe the German techs like to mess with our minds a little this thing was built in Germany with all Mercedes parts.
Maybe the JK has a little of their influence. No offence to my German friends we just might not be use to the way you build things. Or design them. Drive by wire is not knew but its new to the US market and to US drivers. So they will have to make it work with our get there fast get there now way of driving. So my wife says. So far the Sprinter has been good for what its built for. The engine will likely out live me. Cause I'm rusting fast... According to my wife..................
I just can't wait to get this machine and see what it will do.
