i've never noticed anyone laughing or mock. some stares when the top and doors are off on cold mornings before the temp rises. but screw all the people that don't like it. i know inside they are all jealous that their wives won't let them get one or that they think 15mpg is killing the environment.

I hate the Prius......they get in my way and hold up traffic. Oh people laugh at my Jeep because it's yellow and they say it looks like the "Short Bus". Maybe they are staring because I drive around blasting country music? Either way I don't care what people think for the most part. I have spent my whole entire adult life (So far) defending everybody's Constitutional Right's and freedoms. So....I will enjoy mine and as Blake Shelton says, "You can kiss my country ass!"

Living in Texas, a lot of lifted truck guys like to jack with me a little. I just laugh at them and tell them to call me when they get stuck and I will pull them out.

If someone's wife has to ok what they drive, i feel for them. Grow a pair, and stick that witch to the curb. My girlfriend won't even bring it up, i love that chick but if it gets to her or the jeep, hasta lasagna chick. I do notice stares sometimes, but the look in their eye says, wish i had a jeep!

Mock? That's odd. Being in a sophisticated town like NYC I've gotten nothing but love from everybody. They are all like cool what an awesome jeep! Definitely not getting the snub from anyone.

I've never been mocked except jokingly by my friends, but that's all in good fun. I notice more looks of envy in the summer when the top's down an the doors are off and a dad in a minivan drives by thinking "why not me???". Lol!
