Friday I had a HORRIBLE day at work and was so mad and down I couldn't see straight. Then I got in my Jeep and was driving home from work with the top down and the doors off when I noticed what a beautiful night it was high 70's perfect clear night, not too humid. So as I was enjoying this I just cranked up the tunes and drove and I noticed about 10 min later I had completely forgotten about work and was just enjoying the night ride perfectly happy and worry free. This is why I freaking love my Jeep and I'm willing to pay high gas prices and drive myself broke buying mods for her. Anything that can make me that content that fast is priceless IMO. Just curious if I was the only one or am I a big softie for my ride.

yea, jeep drives always chill me out, I love it. When ever I get stressed at work I also go outside in the parking lot and just stair at my jeep, that calms me down.

My Dad had a heart attack last week ( he's OK, thank God) and on my way home from the hospital I had the top off, windows down (wife doesn't want the doors off with a 1 year old) and a hoodie on. While my thoughts were with my Dad I couldn't help thinking "what a beautiful night for a drive in a Jeep".

My wife and I do the same thing. Only thing to worry about is the deer in the road.

I'm with ya bro...I drive from Hurst everyday back to Keller in the 100+ heat and don't mind it a bit. I can't wait everyday to be able to leave work so I can go get in my baby and drive home.

My girlfriend isn't much of an outdoors person, and she prefers small sports cars (her last two vehicles were a VW GTI and a supercharged Mini Cooper ).

All it took was one ride in my JK, and she got it. Even when it was raining, and I just had the two freedom top panels set up as a poor man's bikini top, she was still loving it.

How can you not love the immediate connection with the world around you as you move down the road?
