On my last wheeling trip we went through a trail that was flooded. We were submerged for about 50yards. Most of the time the water was over the bumpers and sometimes higher. I'm not sure where it came from, but my whole interior flooded. Footwells, that little storage in the trunk, everything. And it just appeared. So I was wondering if anyone knows of problem areas where it's common for water to come in? All my plugs were in. Here is a pic for enjoyment!

I have no idea where the water came from but I could guess.. did you stop and start while going through the water? do you have a missing piece of weather striping around a door? etc. etc.

I really just wanted to say awesome pics and wish I was there

Looks like fun!!

It was a ton of fun!
Didn't stop once. Was in 4lo 2nd gear and crawled. Must have took me about 45 seconds to get from one end to the other. I was looking at the stripping on the door and it looks like there is a small opening in the bottom where it separates. Maybe that's where it came from.

It's also possible with yours being an 07 that the doors simple don't seal correctly anymore. Weathering striping worn or w/e.

Anyways.. enjoy.

I would say the plugs in the floors. Looks like you need to lift the Jeep more... great looking trip...wish I could find water crossings like that here!

Default That looks fun

If you want to check your drain plugs I have them all pointed out a few post down here ->https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-w...12-2dr-238728/

You might want to look into extending the breather hoses for your axles and transfer case. I haven't done it myself yet but there are some write-ups on it. I poked around the other day and the rear breather comes up to about the top of the rear passenger side fender (it's often extended into the tail light). If you went with water over your fenders you may have water in your differential, transfer case oil.
