Default Does your JK Shrink?

Now I know that over time, suspension will eventually compress a little and cause a bit of droopage, but I was wondering if anyone else experiences the following.

When I put on my lift and tires, I thought it was quite tall.
I was pleased with the mean, agressive stance.

Now , only a few months later, I look at it and it seems small and insignificant. Almost as if were a miniature. I have measured everything, and there have been no changes.

Is this because we always want bigger?
Or is that I have just gotten used to what I had?
Or is it that Ive been on here too much looking at jks with 6 inch lifts and 37+ tires?
I know I cant go too much taller, as my big fat butt will only have more trouble getting in and out, as well as all of the kiddos, and my knocked up bride.

Maybe I just want more change too often....

Any Comments?

It will appear different each day. The truck I traded in to get my JK was a 06 Chevy Silverado with a 6" Fab tech lift. Some days it looked huge and then others my perspective of it would make it appear smaller.
Then again, we always do want "bigger and better".

You know i was checking out my jeep the other day and thought, F*&^ that looks good. Then this morning I was thinking it just looks stock. I think you get used to, you always see one on the site that tits, and of course you want bigger. I'm not sure how much longer I can wait on the Hemi though. Did you guys see the picture of Orange Crush. That thing huge.

my buddies and I are always looking at our rigs and say that they look smaller than yesterday. Its like when your on the highway and you get used to going 80 mph.....you get on a back road and think ur going 5 mph when ur going 40....Same deal.....

The good and the bad of it is that one day your going to look at ur rig and say it looks small and then you go inside and break the bank to make it grow......

You've been watering & feeding it right?

Giving it plenty of exercise (offroad)? It should grow.
