Default Dog-resistant Interior

Ok i've been with the top + doors on all winter and spring long, and summers just around the corner (along with topless season) so it might be a little late for this but is there any known repellent to wonderful Labrador hair sticking to everything in the car?

I have a huskey thats a fluff ball and the best thing that I have found is having duct tape in the car. I wrap the tape around my hand with the sticky side facing out and use my hand like a brush. It works better than most things I have tried and its cheap! Throw it away when your done. waaa la

The best advice I can give to eliminate dog hair from your Jeep is to remove the carpets. That will help with keeping odors down too. Without the top or doors the hair will just blow away. I went with vinyl seats in my Jeep so dog hair only accumulates on the dash and center console, quick wipe down and its gone . If you have cloth might get some seat covers.

If the carpets are just removed, what's left underneath? What does it look like from esthetics point of view? I'd love to do it and have spartan kinda look, but not sure if it looks ok.

What's left under the carpet is painted steel. Personally I love the way it looks. I believe Jeeps are the ultimate utilitarian vehicle. Some guys use spray one bed liner to protect the floor of the Jeep. That looks pretty bad-ass I think.
Take the carpet out and see how it looks, if you hate it put it back in. They are really easy to take out, just pull, and put back should be easy too.

Jeeps were made for dogs! I have sturdy seat covers to keep her claws from wrecking the upholstery. The rest I just vacuum and do the tape wrapped around your hand. Not much else you can do, except take the carpet out. I haven't done that, I like my carpet for sound and heat protection. What's a little dog hair. Summer time, I think I shed more than she does!

Default yep

i made a thread about this a while back. to get dog hair out of your carpet.. take a spray bottle and fill it half way up with warm water... and then fill it up the rest of the water with liquid fabric softener. then.. spray down your interior and wait about 30 minutes for it to dry.... then take one of those rubber kitchen gloves youd use to do dishes and just start rubbing it down the carpet. the pet hair will collect into big balls and you can scoop it out.

You can also take a spray bottle and fill it w a 50/50 mixture of fabirc softner and water. Spray on the seats, or whereever let it sit for 5-10 mins, and use a yellow kitchen glove and wipe 95% of the dog hair away. Then vacuum up the remain bit.....and this makes your JK smell nice.
