So I was driving home from work this morning heard a clunk and then a few bangs pulling away from a red light, then it just wouldn't go. Pulled over and saw this









Ooops. Think the T case is ok hopefully its just the joint and I don't have to replace the yolk.

 

chirp chirp chirp chirp crash bang pop soon as I hear it I have the u joint changed

 

HAHA!! I don't remember hearing any birds chirping, but the crash bang and pop sound familiar.

 

You just reminded me of that old Car-X commercial!

 

Some simple service could have avoided this,grease goes a long way

 

Wow that sucks.... I didn't before.... My current gf, on our first date I wanted to "show off" with my dodge Ram, I had the front forks on a manual cable setup so I could throw it in 4 low but the power only goes to the rear wheels and not the front (great for doing burn outs) I started to smoke the tires up then all I heard was banging then nothing, then I heard something.... I looked out the Window to see my drive shaft actually rolling out from under the truck! Lol she was so impressed let me tell u lol
