Default Donuts in the JK

So I was doing donuts when it snowed lightly here in 4WD. The snow quickly went away and I couldn't try anymore. Is it easier to do them in 4WD than 2WD? I didn't switch b/c in 4WD they were a breeze which surprised me. Also, the ESP didn't hinder them. Should it have?

This isn't the best video of my best donuts, but I had it in 4wd with ESP turned off. The first bunch of donuts that I did were in a perfect circle around that garbage can. Once I scattered the snow, it was rough trying to start the donut but, you get the picture.

For the rest of you, if you listen closely, what's the clicking that you hear? I heard that a lot that day, mostly while climbing steep hills in the snow. My buddy said all tires were powering independent of each other and I basically climbed the hill sideways (which was awesome!)

Seems as though it is the sound of the tires trying to find traction. I know I have a similar situation when i don't have traction and give it a lot of gas. The axle essentially is hopping up and down on each side, from one tire to the other. Did you feel shaking when it was doing that? Not a problem, just the way any solid axle would act in a similar situation.

As long as you hit the button 1st or 2nd I can get some good spins going. Today I think I will try and kill the ESP. See what its like.

Yeah, like I said, these weren't the best. I didn't get vid of the ones where was spinning around the trash can. Probably would've been better in 2wd.
