What has anyone done to safe guard against the front drive shaft hitting the cross member Cut or drop the cross member whats the best way ? Anyone have the best fix Thanks.

 

Just reading the title sounds like a good thing!

But, I guess for the Jeep not so much. I haven't had to do it yet, cause I merely have a BB, but I would think trimming would be the best route. Dropping the skid will only decrease clearance and break over angle(along with giving you the desired shaft clearance of course)
