Haven't driven it since Thanksgiving, last November. I put it in the garage for the winter. Just drove in and shut it off. I don't drive it during the winter, because of the amount of salt on our roads. I have two other vehicles that I use, so I "save" the Jeep from early rust-out.
But anyway, God it felt good to drive it again. It started up right away and purred like a kitten. Driving it to the gas station 15 miles away was a total joy. Even the cheap radio sounded fine. I have more expensive vehicles than the JK, and the JK is a bare bones 6spd. It's "low tech" and I love it that way.
I have 3 miles of hilly, dirt road between me and the pavement, and the road was muddy and the Jk got dirty, so she got hosed off. Can't wait for mud season to be over.
Soon it'll be time to put the pickup in the garage and use the JK as a DD.
