I certainly understand that. I waffled on mine a few times. What did it for me was that I had to relocate anyway, as we all should do, so I could buy the JKs relo kit and a new stabilizer for roughly $200, or buy this dual kit for $260. I figured the extra $60 was a risk I was ok with. Could be absolutely unnecessary, but I will never know cause its not coming off. It does look cool though!!

I don't agree that it's not needed. Believe me... If it didn't perform a needed function it would be eliminated by the bean counters.

Not sure where you who say you don't need one live, but with Michigan roads I wouldn't want to drive a base JK on steely wheeled donut tires without one!!!
