Just went down to the local dealer to put an order in for an 08 JK and they were telling me to by a current 07 jk because the 08s don't have the dual top option any more its either Hard or Soft top.

Any one else hear of this or has it been a slow month and they're trying to get rid of a few more vehicles before the end of the month????

Not true! I was at my local dealer today and saw at least three 08's on the lot with the dual top option listed right on the sticker Your dealer must be trying to reduce his stock

Thats disappointing news if true. I am also looking to buy in a week this news plus the sucky front bumper makes me wanna find a 07 I like quick.

Yeah osros, you should be all set with the dual top option. I think the biggest disappointment with the 08's is the lack of a 4.10 axle ratio on anything except a Rubicon. That alone makes me glad I have an 07 (with a 4.10 of course)

If you buy the Trailer Tow you get the 4.10 axle on the Sahara

I have a duel top 08 on order and the option is listed on jeep.com as an option. I think the dealer must have 07's to get rid of.

The Jeep web site is confusing. Here is what they list for an '08 Sahara Tow Group. They list both the 4:10 AND the 3:73

Yeah it is misleading, they show the tow pkg as having both axle ratio's. I think you're gonna find that you end up with the 3.73's on an 08 though. :sad:
