LJ = Long Jeep
YJ = ?
TJ = ?
JK = ?
XJ = ?

or are they just the letters that Jeep thought would sell???

 

Not a dumb question at all. I wonder the same thing. I would bet there is no meaning to a lot of them these days. jk=just kidding. right?

 

Pretty sure it's just what jeep came up with. Yj. Yuppie jeep.
Tj. Trail jeep.
Jk. Jeep king.
Xj. Xtreem jeep.
Well this is what I saw mentioned before. But I'm sure I'm wrong. Haha

It's not a jeep if the headlights are square. Just my opinion. Sorry yuppies

Typical for me, I searched it on the web and I came across a post on a YJ site where the guy said "It stands of absolutely nothing! If any of those roundheadlighters tell you it's for Yuppie Jeep, punch them in the face. It's hip to be square".
I almost fell out of my chair laughing!!!
