Default Euro JK Model

I was looking on the Jeep UK site and noticed that they have a different bumper as well as some additional rear red lenses built into the rear bumper (properly for the required rear fog light). Wonder what else is different other than that.

pic for reference

They have a different front bumper due to European Pedestrian Impact requirements. Wouldn’t be surprised if they start requiring airbags on the outside of the vehicle so that pedestrians can just bounce off the hood.

Wow! That front bumper is even uglier than the U.S. version!

Actually, I guess you can legally hit pedestrians in the US too! Last summer I was out for my morning run and was crossing in a crosswalk when I was hit by a Mitsubishi Endeavor. The driver of the Mitsubishi stopped at the stop sign before the crosswalk, but then made a right and turn without looking in both directions. That's when she hit me. She admitted to the police that she hit me while I was in the crosswalk and that it was completely her fault. I had injuries to my hand, knee, and hip. It really ticks me off when I think about it even now, because she was not cited at all! Of course it did turn into an insurance claim, so maybe the cost of her policy at least went up. I mean, there should be some penalty for mowing down someone in a crosswalk!

I wish I could tell you but I never got a case. See, the driver started yelling at me in Italian, and I was lookin at him like "why the hell are you yelling at me. You're the one that hit me."

I ended up flipping him off and leaving a dent in his hood. Good ol' american spirit.

A coworker was walking in a crosswalk in front of our business when a woman ran into him, breaking his hip & leg badly. It was in our local paper the next day, and the article stated that HE had hit HER VEHICLE...
