Default Exhaust leak.

Got in a bad accident about 3 weeks ago and got my Jeep back yesterday. The body shop owner told me I had an exhaust leak. I went to go mudding last night and noticed a difference on hp. Is there anything I can do about it or do I have to buy a new exhaust?

where is the exhaust leak at? Exhaust manifolds, cat converter, muffler, etc. Once you figure that out then we can better help you.

Unless you find the particular section where the leak is at, then you wouldn't be able to do anyting about it other than replacing it... You can always start mildy upgrading/replacing different components in your exhaust system over time if you don't mind the power change you noticed. I'd say start at the headers and work your way back...

It's at the cat converter.

If its the Converter then you can just have that replaced by itself.

It all depends on what you buy, a factory replacement or an upgraded one. This is one of the few things that I recommend keeping stock if you can, alot of inspection places wont pass you cuz some converters don't pass emissions standards.I think they're usually around $100-200 tho. Some you buy that are welded into a new exhaust, or some are simple bolt on replacements...
