He's from San Antonio. It can get REALLY hot here. We had three months where it was above 100 degrees every day. Over 30 where it was above 105. The AC in my Jeep with the hard-top could barely keep up. I'd not want to try that with a hard top. Really enjoying this nice weather now - finally got my hard top off!

I second the idea for a storage unit to store the top in.

The biggest reason why I got a hard top is because it is a theft deterrent and and I like the way it looks. Plus the freedom top Panels are pretty cool. Yea it gets really hot in san antonio. I hate it. I want to paint it silver to keep the inside cooler.

I'm with you on this one! I've yet to own a vehicle that could keep up with the heat as well as I'd like. Luckily, I have underground parking at work, so as long as I use that, A/C does just fine. Can't wait to get my Jeep, I picked silver for a reason.

I think silver is the best color. I think it's the best to mix with chrome or black trim lol And it looks like heavy metal with the exposed door hinges. I almost got black but it's too hot and silver is a little less common in san antonio. It looks white in some light.

My friend wants me to put my top in his garage :-D

I never said I would. If I did it would just be the tail light guards. That's it it. I want everything else black or a dark metal. I want wheels like the COD edition.
