Falken AT
My tires are about done so its time to start looking again. Right now i have 35" mud grapplers and they were a good set of tires and i got about 35k off of them, but im looking for something a little different. Im finally making the hop up to 37s
. The more i have been looking im getting interested in the Falken AT, but i want to hear first hand experance of how they preform. My jeep is my DD but at the same time i might put 50 miles on it in a week max, because i have another more fuel friendly vehicle (motorcycle). I drive about 70/30 - on/off road, mostly of the beach, mud and small rocks, and once or twice a year i make a big trip up to Moab or Crawlarodo. But anyways tell me if u like them and what kinda terrain you drive on.
Thanks.

If you can wait a little bit, I think they are coming out with a M/T version of the Wildpeaks. Saw some threads on various off-road sites about them. Some rigs ran them in KOH I think. No clue on when they will be available though.
Otherwise, I've only heard awesome things about the A/T version.

Yeah ive heard they are supposed to be coming out in Nov-Dec. But the thing is, is that the tires i have now are way over kill for what i need, thats y im not going to buy them again. Dont get me wrong they are a great tire but there $$$. Thats why i was looking at more of an AT and not an MT. Plus the Falken At have a 50k mile warranty, so thats pushing me torward them to. But i guess thats the cheapo coming out in me. hahaha
I've had the Wildpeak AT's on my F150 SuperCab 4x4 for about 2 years now. They seem to be a very good all-around tire on the highway in rain and snow. pretty guiet at highway speeds. All in all they've been a good tire. With that said, I put a set of Cooper AT'3's on the wifes 07JKU and feel they are a much better tire, and look just as good if not better than the Peaks. The Cooper have a 50K warranty and cost only about $10.00 more per tire. They have been on the wife's JKU now for about 2 years also and show little if any tread wear.
I had a set of 35" Falken ATs. They were quiet on the highway and worked as good as any AT tire in sand or dry dirt. They were one of the worst tires I've ever owned for mud though. It wasn't uncommon to get stuck on flat ground, and just sit there spinning, and not be able to go anywhere if it was muddy. I would not recommend them unless you only go four wheeling in dry terrain.

Just my opinion.
